Burritos
A burrito is one of the most common Mexican dishes, from the region of Juarez, Mexico. Its name comes from the Spanish diminutive of burro.
The burritos usually include meat such as beef, chicken, and other ingredients such as rice, beans, and salsa. The burritos ingredients are wrapped in a large flour tortilla which has been lightly grilled in order to make the tortilla soft and more pliable.

Popular Meat fillings are : fried fish, shredded beef and eggs, slow cooked meat, marinated pork, Chorizos, Shrimps, Beef tongue, Beef brains, pork rinds.
Other ingredients that may be in the burrito : Salsa Roja, Salsa Verde, or any other salsas, Refried beans , Whole pinto beans , Black beans , Mexican rice , Shredded lettuce or cabbage, Diced tomato, Diced onions (often grilled), Corn, Cilantro, peppers, Sour cream, Shredded cheese such as Queso blanco, Oaxaca or Asadero, or other farmer cheese.
Other less common ingredients which might be in the burrito are : lobster, chile relleno and nopales.
The burrito is served differenly from the United States to Mexico. A very common style named "Wet Burrito", in this method the burrito is smothered in a red chile sauce, and shredded cheese added on top in the oven so that

the cheese melts.
Another version of he burrito is as a breakfast dish this burrito contains flour tortilla which is filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon / sausage and salsa. The breakfast Burritos may also include Chorizo and eggs.
Burritos are sometimes called tacos in the East of Mexico, and called burritas in the Mexican restaurants which are northern style. There is also a thin and long fried burrito which is prepared in Sonora, Mexico and called chivichanga
